Case Study: Queen Sheba — Grammy Campaign Social Media Strategy

Social Media Coordination & Content Strategy (Oct 2024 – Feb 2025)

When Queen Sheba approached me during her Grammy campaign, her goal was clear: amplify her voice as a Spoken Word Artist and position her album Civil Writes: The South Got Something to Say for first-round Grammy consideration. My job was to create a high-impact social media strategy that honored her artistry while building momentum, visibility, and industry credibility.

In just six weeks, I developed and executed a content plan across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn that blended storytelling, fan engagement, and Grammy-focused promotional content. I highlighted key tracks, crafted nomination-ready messaging, and built a posting rhythm that kept her audience informed, inspired, and rallying behind her campaign.

I leaned heavily into her unique brand of Southern-rooted, socially conscious spoken word — designing posts that celebrated her craft while guiding her audience through the nomination process. From lyric snippets to BTS insights to Grammy-buzz content, I shaped a cohesive, celebratory narrative around her album.

The result?
Queen Sheba secured her spot as a first-round Grammy nominee, affirming the power of aligned, strategic social media marketing and amplifying the visibility of her work within the spoken-word community and beyond.

Supporting Queen Sheba through this campaign has been a powerful reminder that when storytelling, strategy, and authenticity converge, artists win — not just with nominations, but with deeper audience connection and brand elevation.
